Tamzyn

Hi, I'm Tamzyn and I joined the Moy Vets​ family in Oct 2021 working across both our Hambleton and Thornton practices. I graduated from Myerscough / UCLAN in 2006 with a BSc in Veterinary Nursing and have worked in many roles across a variety of practices since then including mixed practice caring for farm, equine and small animals, dedicated emergency and critical care clinics, and a multidisciplinary referral hospital.  I have also spent some time away from Veterinary practice completing my PGCE and working as a lecturer and training consultant teaching student veterinary nurses. 

Although I no longer work as a nurse 'hands on' with the pets that visit our practices, I really enjoy using my nursing experience in my current role and being part of the wider team who support all our lovely clients and their pets. 

My 2 children and extremely energetic wire-haired Vizsla keep most of my spare time well occupied, but when I get the chance, I love walking, reading and painting.
